"Sing to the Lord, all the earth!

Tell of his salvation from day to day.

Declare his glory among the nations,

His marvelous works among all the peoples!

For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised,

And he is to be feared above all gods."

- 1 Chronicles 16:23-25

Lyrics

Verse:

All our souls will sing of Your grace and mercy

All our souls will sing of Your praise

Let our voices ring to the ends of the earth

Let our praises ring

Pre-Chorus:

We'll sing, all of earth and heaven sing

We will raise our voices

Praise our Father, king of kings

Chorus:

Hallelujah, Hallelujah

Hallelujah, God be praised

The story behind the song

This was one of the first few songs that came to me many years ago. We sing "Hallelujah" so often in church and I see it so often in Christian posts, but I had never gone to search what this word truly meant. So naturally, I googled the meaning of "Hallelujah" and it defined it as an exclamation of "God be praised"! And that was how this song was birthed... As an exclamation of HALLELUJAH, GOD BE PRAISED!

We'll sing, all of earth and heaven sing

We will raise our voices

Praise our Father, king of kings
